Designers Charles and Ray Eames established their long and legendary relationship with Herman Miller in 1946 with the boldly original molded plywood dining and lounge chairs. The chair was designed using technology for molding plywood that the Eames developed before and during The Second World War. Designed to comfortably fit the body, the sculpted form of the molded plywood chairs are produced using thin sheets of lightweight veneer gently molded into curved shapes with natural rubber shock mounts to absorb movement.
From the name lounge chair and dinning chair ,you know that the Eames plywood lounge chair is for living room to relax oneself ,and the whole structure looks more lower then the Eames plywood dinning chair ,they are used different places .So ,you can easily tell which one is for living room ,and which one for dinning room .
Both of the two chairs have many same points ,they all came from Charles and Ray Eames ,and this two kinds of chair are all made of molding plywood .They do not have too much difference ,but they do have the difference .
"Recognizing the need is the primary condition for design."-Charles and Ray Eames
